Perrysburg Symphony Chorale to sing short Baroque worksPERRYSBURG – The Perrysburg Symphony
Chorale will present Shorter Baroque Masterworks Friday at 7 p.m., at Trinity Episcopal Church, the corner
of Adams and St. Clair, in downtown Toledo and Sunday, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 200 West
Second St., Perrysburg.Tickets are $10 and $8 for students and seniors.Two Perrysburg High School students,
Macie Downs and Michael Gerber, in Dietrich Buxtehude’s "Rejoice, Earth and Heaven" cantata. Both
been active in the Perrysburg High School choirs and theater as well as with the chorale.Chorale members Kim
Fechter and Earl Campbell also will be soloists in the Buxtehude. Bridget Blanchard, Christel Mann, Chuck
Kiskaddon, Chuck Dennison, and Mary Bahnsen are featured in "Uns ist ein Kind geboren", by Georg
Philipp Telemann. Pam Williams Rumer is featured in Antonio Vivaldi’s "Deus In Adjutorium,
Domine".The Chorale will perform "Nun danket alle Gott" by Johann Pachelbel.The Chorale will
be accompanied by strings, oboe, and Charles Brown on the keyboard. Wayne Anthony, artistic director of the
Chorale, will conduct.Symphony celebrates seasonsTOLEDO – The Toledo Symphony Orchestra will perform two
orchestral celebrations of the seasons Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. in the Toledo Museum of Art
Peristyle.The program pairs Antonio Vivaldi’s "Four Seasons" with Argentinian composer Astor
Piazzolla’s "The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires."Soloists for the Vivaldi piece will be violinists
Kirk Toth and Merwin Siu.Five tango dancers including Jacki Myrice, of Tontogany, will perform during

Portage has been accepted into the 100th Anniversary Exhibition of The Allied Artists of America show in New
York City.Artists from all over the country, and across the globe, are chosen to participate in the
Exhibition, one of New York City’s longest-running annual art shows. The exhibit runs through Sunday at the
National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South in New York City.The painting that will be featured in the show
is ‘Driven,’ a 36×45 inch oil on canvas. "It is said that the face is the window to the soul,"
said Isaacs. "I have always been interested in how a person’s face can run through the gamut of
emotions. I work in oil paint to capture and convey the subtle nuances of emotion and mood that are
displayed in a fleeting expression."Isaacs, an Elmwood High School graduate, completed the BFA program
at Bowling Green State University in 2013. She exhibited in many shows in northwest Ohio including the 93rd
Annual Toledo Area Artists Exhibition at the Toledo Museum of Art, receiving a Second

Rituals and Rites of Passage," a concert featuring the two-piano work of Teresa McCollough and Dr.
Michael Boyd, will be presented Sunday at 3 p.m. in the University of Toledo’s Center for Performing Arts
Recital Hall.The program will feature the two-piano arrangement of Igor Stravinsky’s "Rite of
Spring" in honor of the ballet’s 100th anniversary.Also on the program guest artist McCollough and
Boyd, of the UT faculty will be: Frederic Rzewski’s "Winnsboro Cotton Mill Blues" (arranged for
two pianos) and "Down by the Riverside," both from North American Ballades andTobias Picker’s

artists to sell crafts at Make-It IndieWHITEHOUSE – Bittersweet Creative Arts will be participating in
Make-it Indie Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 1717 Adams St. in Toledo.Bittersweet artists will sell
handmade ceramic, glass, woven and mixed media items. Make-it Indie is a one-day alternative craft fair that
features all Midwest handmade goods and is part of the Holiday Loop sponsored by The Arts Commission of
Greater Toledo.The artwork showcased at the fair is made from new and recycled materials, found objects, and
re-purposed treasures. The craft fair highlights do it yourself artists that use bright ideas, bold designs,
and classic concepts that may be slightly unconventional.Food, drinks, music, and dancing will be featured.
Admission is $1, children under 12 are free.Prizm in Toledo’s Holiday LoopTOLEDO – Prizm Creative Community
will feature some of its best creative artists in a Holiday Boutique Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the
downtown gallery area at 25 South St. Claire St. .The WORK will be featured at the open office space of Seed
Coworking. The portable boutique will be a featured stop on the Holiday Loop sponsored by The Arts
Commission of Greater Toledo.
