Festival volunteers needed
Volunteers are still needed for the Black Swamp Arts Festival which begins Friday at 5 p.m. and continues through Sunday at 5 p.m. in downtown Bowling Green.
On Saturday the festival still needs volunteers to work  in the beer garden from 1-3 and 3-5 p.m. , to sell tickets from 3-5 and 9- 11:30 p.m. and gate monitors at 5 p.m.
On Sunday volunteers are needed to work two-hour shifts to sell merchandise from 2-6 p.m. and to sell tickets from 1-5 p.m.
Also help is needed setting up on Friday at 9 a.m. and tearing down Sunday at 5 p.m..

Tickets on sale Friday for Florida Georgia Line
Tickets are now on sale for the  Florida Georgia Line Oct. 13 concert at Bowling Green State University go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
The country duo of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. brings their Here's to the Good Times Tour to the Stroh Center with guests Colt Ford and Dallas Smith. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and $30.
The event is sponsored by the University Activities Organization.

Saxophonist to play the oldies
GRAND RAPIDS - Saxophonist  Geri G. will perform the oldies at a Rhythm On the River concert Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Wright Pavilion located on the towpath between the canal and the Maumee River at the end of Lincoln Street
Geri G. Harvell, from Labelle, Florida, has been playing the alto saxophone since 1954.  When he  retired, he turned his attention to performing.  Harvell plays professionally at dances, cocktail hours, weddings, and concerts. He specializes in playing "the oldies."

Irish entertainer O'Donnell
bringing show to Stranahan
TOLEDO - The Irish Daniel O'Donnell will perform Sept. 14 and 15 at 3 p.m. in the Stranahan Theater.
The three-hour show features O'Donnell with his band also with singer Mary Duff.
A portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to Komen for a Cure Northwest Ohio.

Nature photos on display
FOSTORIA -  The nature images by two photographers are now on exhibit at the Wesley Memorial Gallery in the narthex of he Wesley Memorial Church, 1200 Van Buren St.
Frank Matera's Floral Fantasy features a dozen images of flowers.
Rick Ergenbright's Images of the American Landscape features images both panoramic and intimate he took while driving and hiking throughout the country.

Masterworks season set
TOLEDO - Masterworks Chorale, a mixed voice ensemble comprised of singers from the Toledo-area, and led by artistic director Tim Cloeter, will present three concerts for its 2013-14 season.
•     "Mary and the Angels" at Epworth United Methodist Church in Toledo Dec. 7 at 8 p.m.  and Dec. 8 at 4 p.m.
•    "From the Heart and Soul," featuring works by Brahms, Whitacre and Dickau, at St. Michael's in the Hills Episcopal Church in Ottawa Hills March 15 at 8 p,m.
•    "Collage VII" at the Valentine Theatre in Toledo May 31 at 8 p.m.
Also the Masterworks Chorale will host a community singing of  Handel's "Messiah" Dec. 15 at 4 p.m. at Olivet Lutheran Church in Sylvania.
