Area arts events 6th Edition head to market
PERRYSBURG — The jazz vocal ensemble 6th Edition will perform a Music At the Market concert July 18 from  7 p.m-. to 8:30 p.m. on the Commodore lawn,  140 E. Indiana Ave.
The members of 6th Edition are a musical collective of accomplished musicians who have individual music careers.
Three of the 6th Edition  members Kim Bueller, Lisa Young, and Lori Lefevre all studied under the legendary jazz great Jon Hendricks over a decade ago. That sparked the idea for a vocal group that would specialize in close, unique  vocal harmonies in the style of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross.  John Johnson  and Kevin  Eikum round out the five member group. The group performs a wide range of material from jazz standards to Stevie Wonder, a reflection of the group’s eclectic musical tastes.
The concert moves inside to the Beck Auditorium.
