Auditions to be held for Pemberville Children's Theatre
PEMBERVILLE -  The Pemberville Children's Theatre will hold auditions for its summer production "Jason and the Argonauts"  Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
The workshop will meet Saturday afternoons throughout the summer culminating in the production of this comic action adventure peopled with larger-than-life, dim-witted heroes and spunky heroines. Open to  children age of 7 through 16.

Acoustic Penguin to play free show at Coffee Shop
PEMBERVILLE -  The Acoustic Penguin will perform a free show Friday from 8 to 11 p.m. at Higher Ground Coffee Shop, 222 E. Front St,
The Bowling Green band features Don Flick, Grant Flick and Craig Flick and Cole Christensen playing bluegrass, swing and other Americana styles.

Voices of Harmony Chorus presents barbershop concert
MAUMEE - Voices of Harmony Chorus, part of the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society from Bowling Green, will present its annual concert  "I'm Gonna Miss Her" May 25 at 7 p.m. at the Maumee Performing Arts Center.
The chorus will welcome special guests The Jones Boys from Columbus  and  Blueshift college quartet. Also featured will be a performance by chapter quartet Archive.

Buzzelli joins Lori Lefevre for jazz on Maumee show
TOLEDO -  Vocalist Lori Lefevre with guitarist Chris Buzzelli and bassist Norm Damschroder will perform a Jazz on the Maumee concert Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Aqua Lounge at the Grand Plaza Hotel, 444 N. Summit St.
Cover charge is $15, $10 for members of the Art Tatum Jazz Society and  $5 for students.

Toledo Symphony season ends with Tchaikovsky's 5th
TOLEDO - The Toledo Symphony Overture will conclude its season with concerts Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. in the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle featuring Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky's Symphony No.5 in E minor.
Conducted by Stefan Sanderling, the orchestra also will perform the overture to "L'isola disabitata" by Franz Joseph Haydn. Cornelia Herrmann will be the featured soloist on Wolfgang Amadè Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor.
