Middle school honors choir on campus
The Bowling Green State University College of Musical Arts will host its first Middle School Honors Chorus Saturday.
Fifty students from 19 area schools will be in the Moore Center for the Musical Arts beginning at 9 a.m. The chorus along with the BGSU A Cappella Choir will perform at 4 p.m. in Kobacker Hall.
Members of the BGSU choir will help throughout the day.
Gospel quartet closes series
The Gospel Harmony Boys will perform the final concerts of the Live in House series Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Pemberville Opera House and Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Grand Rapids Town Hall theater.
The West Virginia-based quartet traces its roots back to 1952.

MFA thesis show at BGSU
The Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition II continues through Sunday in the Dorothy Uber Bryan and Willard Wankelman galleries of the Bowling Green State University Fine Arts Center.
Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Teen theater casts musical
FREMONT - Fremont Community Teen Theater will hold auditions for the musical, "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" Sunday and Monday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Fremont Community Theater is located at 1551 Dickinson Street behind Vanguard Vocational School
The musical will be staged June 27 through June 30
Auditions for students age 13 to 19 will be held on. Applicants will be required to prepare 16 bars of a musical theater vocal selection.

'MOMologues' on Rep stage
TOLEDO - The Toledo Rep in honor of Mother's Day will present "The MOMologues" May 9 through May 11 at 8 p.m. and May 12 at 2:30 p.m. at the theater at 16 10th St.
Written by Lisa Rafferty, Stefanie Cloutier, and Sheila Eppolito, and directed by Elizabeth Cottle "The MOMologues" is a series of often comic recollections and reflections on motherhood.
