Perrysburg Musical Theater raising funds for June show
PERRYSBURG - Perrysburg Musical Theatre will be holding several fundraisers to  prepare for its next main stage production, "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
Schedule events to benefit the  nonprofit organization are:
• May 9, a Max & Erma's fundraiser. Go to: www.perrysburgmusicaltheatre.org  to download the coupon.
• May 17 from 7  to 10 p.m. "PMT Goes Karaoke!!" at Zoar Lutheran Church. Admission $5. A silent auction and raffle will be held.
• May 19th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at McDonalds on U.S  20. A percent of all orders taken will go to Perrysburg Musical Theatre.
"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," directed by Clark Ausloos with musical direction by Michael Kadin Craig, will be staged June 20, 21, and 23 at Perrysburg High School.

Mystic Wood to perform in Pemberville shop
PEMBERVILLE - The husband and wife duo  Mystic Wood will perform at The Higher Ground Coffee Shop, 222 E. Front St., Friday from 8 to 11 p.m.
Bob and Julie Theroux, from Whitehouse play folk, bluegrass and acoustic rock.

Playshop's 'Joseph' opens
Waterville Playshop will stage "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"   at the Maumee Indoor Theater are Friday, and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
Based on the Biblical story of Joseph, the show is directed by Sam Macera. Cast includes Andy Dysard as Joseph and Jamie Becker as narrator with cast members Roy Heiz,  Lloyd Everingham,  Jack Ellison,  Bart Soeder, Erik Christensen, Bruce Gardner,  Brockston Lewis,  Kyle Ruhe,  Matthew Will, Jared Ellison, Jonathan Crawford and Nathan Mundo.

Mosaic table class offered
Coyote Beads and Jewelry, 178 S. Main St., Bowling Green, will hold a Mosaic Glass-Top Table Class May 6 and 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Cost for the workshop taught by Gail Christofferson is $50 which includes all materials, except the table. Call (419) 354-2323.

Cathedral celebrating World Organ Day with recital
TOLEDO - Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, 2535 Collingwood Blvd., will mark World Organ Day Monday at 7:30 p.m. by a concert by Paul Monachinom.

Museum hosts derby party
TOLEDO - Circle 2445, a group of young professionals who promote involvement with the Toledo Museum of Art, will host Run for the Roses, a Kentucky Derby party, Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Peristyle.
The event will include Southern fare, a cash bar featuring mint juleps and live music by Kentucky Chrome. All Derby activities will be simulcast on a big screen.
Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door, can be purchased online at www.toledomuseum.org/circle2445, at the Museum information desk or by calling (419) 255-8000 ext. 7546.
As part of a special promotion, those who join or renew their museum membership along with joining Circle 2445 will receive one free ticket to the Derby Party.

Grand Rapids casting 'Annie'
GRAND RAPIDS - Auditions for the Historical Society of Grand Rapids' summer musical, "Annie" will be held at the Town Hall May 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. and  May 12  from 2 to 4 p.m.
Those auditioning should come prepared to sing a song from the show or one that is typical, dance and read from the script.
"Annie" will be performed on July 12, 13 and 14 at the Town Hall Theatre. For more information call the director, Sam Macera, at (419) 878-6826.

Standards on tap at Degage
MAUMEE - Pianist Michael Peslikis and vocalist Flo Metzger will perform jazz standards Saturday from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. at Degage Jazz Cafe.
