Connor Rose promotes
new recording on RFD-TV
Local country singer Connor Rose will be performing on RFD-TV on April 4 to preview his forthcoming EP "The End of Tonight."
The self-produced recording, the 16-year-old singer's first, is slated to be released April 14
RFD-TV reaches more than 40 million homes. RFD-TV is available as Channel 229 on Time Warner; Channel 231 on Dish; and Channel 345 on DirecTV.  Check local listings for times.
With a Nashville, Tenn., management team now in place consisting of seasoned musicians and songwriters, he will be spending more time in Nashville writing, recording and performing.  He recently performed on the General Jackson Showboat in Nashville.
Rose, of Bowling Green, got his start at 13 with an appearance at the Sandusky County Fair.

Josh Silver leads jazz trio
TOLEDO - Pianist Josh Silver will lead a trio in a Jazz on the Maumee show Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Aqua Lounge in the Grand Plaza Hotel, 444 N. Summit.
Silver, a jazz studies student at Bowling Green State University, will be joined by Damen Cook, drums, and Steve Knurek, bass.
The series is sponsored by the Art Tatum Jazz Society.
Cover charge is $15, $10 for jazz society members and $5 for students.

Bobbit headlines comedy night
Mike Bobbit will headline Comedy Night Tuesday at 9 p.m. at 149 North in downtown Bowling Green.
He has appeared at the Detroit International Comedy Festival, Laughfest and on the Marc Maron podcast
Admission for 18 and up is $5 and $3 with valid student id.
