Pianist offers master class in Pemberville PEMBERVILLE - Warren Mailley-Smith, known as "pianist to the Royal Family," will conduct a master class April 6 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Pemberville Opera House in conjunction with his concerts that weekend. Mailley-Smith will perform Live in the House concerts April 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Pemberville Opera House and April 7 at 2 p.m. in Otsego High School. At the master class, students will play for Mailley-Smith, and then he will offer guidance on how to improve the performance. He will spend about 15 minutes with each student. There will be eight openings on the program. Mailley-Smith prefers to work with high school and college pianists. There will be a $25 charge for each participating pianist. Attendance is free. Columbus comic in BG Bill Arrundale, a comedian from Columbus, will headline Comedy Night Tuesday at 9 p.m. at 149 North in downtown Bowling Green. The show is for 18 and up, tickets are $3 with valid student id or $5 without. Blues society hosts Lil' Ed SYLVANIA - The Black Swamp Blues Society will present Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials March 24 at 6 p.m. at BGump's 101 Restaurant and Lounge, 5147 Main St. Lil' Ed Williams is touring in support of his album "Jump Start." The Chicago-based band - bassist James "Pookie" Young, guitarist Mike Garrett and drummer Kelly Littleton - have been together with the slide guitar maestro for 25 years. Flamenco concert on tap TOLEDO - Flamenco guitarist Juanito Pascual will perform March 28 at 7 p.m. in third space and B-Bop Records, 137 N Michigan St. Pascual will perform with his new trio featuring Tupac Mantilla, bass, and Brad Barrett, percussion.
