Sax duo debut CD
Ogni Suono Saxophone Duo will celebrate the release of its debut CD "Invisible Seams" with a
show Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. at the Clazel Theatre, 127 North Main St. in downtown Bowling Green.
The event will feature a program of music from "Invisible Seams" and other contemporary works.

The title "Invisible Seams" was inspired by Ogni Suono’s sound as a duo which strives to
balance individuality with the desire for a unified blend.
Noa Even and Phil Pierick formed the Bowling Green-based Ogni Suono in 2009 to expand and promote
contemporary music for saxophone duo.
Museum recruiting docents
TOLEDO – The Toledo Museum of Art is recruiting a new class of volunteer educators, known as docents.
Those interested are invited to attend free informational sessions on becoming a docent on Jan. 16 at
1:30 p.m. or Friday, Jan. 17 at 6 p.m. in the museum’s Little Theater.
Docents enroll part-time in 18 months of training in art history, visual literacy and public speaking.
Upon graduation, they become an integral part of the museum, leading nearly 50,000 people annually on
tours of its collection and teaching visitors how to see better using the principles of visual literacy.

Rep classes for kids on tap
TOLEDO – The Toledo Repertoire Theatre Rep Ed winter classes on the theme begin "Space
Oddities" Saturday.
Classes, which run through March 1, are held at the 10th Street Theatre Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.The
classes are open to children, 7 to 16. They will be instructed in singing, dancing, acting, design and
technical arts along with other theater basics.

Pianist plays ‘Triadic Memories’
TOLEDO – Pianist Karl Larson will perform Morton Feldman’s "Triadic Memories" for solo piano
Jan. 15 in the Toledo Opera Studio in the Secor Building, 425 Jefferson Ave, Suite 601. Tickets are $10
and $5 for students.
The 90-minute work is considered a master of Feldman’s late period.
The Brooklyn-based performer has performed major pieces by contemporary and modern composers acoss the
United States, with a particular interest in the work of Feldman. He holds a doctorate in contemporary
music from Bowling Green State University.
