WESTERVILLE, Ohio (AP) — The county coroner says a naturalheart-related issue killed a central
Ohio high school basketball playerwho collapsed after practice last week.Dr. Jan Gorniak, theFranklin County
coroner, issued the opinion on the death of 17-year-oldChristopher Randolph. He fell to his knees after a
Westerville Southteam practice Dec. 11 and died later at a hospital.The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/JH1lbz ) reports that Gorniak did not
elaborate on the cause of the death and plans to study it further.Varsitycoach Ed Calo said nothing on
Randolph’s team medical forms indicated aproblem. He’d had gone through practices and camps all year.The
